POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
Position requires utilization of Clinical and Medical knowledge to complete medication refills. The Medication Refill Specialist must complete prescription refills consistent with the clinic refill algorithms as established, provide patient’s diagnosis for insurance purposes on some medication or medical supplies. Also will require excellent customer service skills with patients, employees, and the public. The Medication Refill Specialist must be able to respond to prescription refill request in a timely and accurate manner. Individual must be organized, able to manage demanding workload with accuracy, and very detail oriented.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Graduate of a certified medical assistant program

One year recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred...
