POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: This position is a part of Salina Regional Health Center's Medical Assistant (MA) Program with Purdue University Global. Upon hire the MA Student will actively enroll in the online MA program through Purdue University Global. Under the supervision of a professional nurse, team lead, or supervisor in charge of the department, the MA Student assists departments in clinic setting to provide quality care. This includes scheduling patient appointments, taking vital signs, transporting patients, clerical support, observation & surveillance to prevent patient injury, and helping the professional nurse with interventions.
