Job Summary: | Will admit/discharge and assess patients pre and post procedure; administer medication to perform moderate sedation; participate in diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab and Vascular Lab, and other areas of Heart and Vascular Center, as needed; document activities of patient care and testing; assist physicians in testing and assessment of patients; communicate results of testing to physicians, nursing and case managers; educate patients and families; will scrub and circulate in room during procedure as well as run hemodynamic monitor. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent, New York State licensed/registered Nurse (or eligible) with a minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience (preferably in an Intensive Care Unit/cardiac/critical care setting) and certification in CPR/BLS required at time of appointment. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
ACLS certification preferred. |
Work Days: |
Monday-Friday Days 8 and 12 hour shifts with participation in on-call rotation |
