Position Summary: The Manager, PCS Operations has the primary responsibility for the operational, clinical and educational functions of the work area. Plans programs that facilitate the development of staff and will delegate portions of this responsibility to subordinates. While maintaining a team approach to the shared responsibilities, functions independently as needed in all aspects of the work area. Supervises support staff. Collaborates with other work area staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the work area. Maintains skills of the staff to initiate and carry out ethical discourse. Ensures that all policies/procedures are age and /or developmentally appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of recent pediatric experience. Previous supervisory and fiscal management experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of the principles pertaining to the area of responsibility. Ability to lead others and apply organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully verbally and in writing.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field from an accredited school. Master’s Degree Required CA RN license, AHA BLS and PALS required. National Certification Required
