It’s Work That Matters RN II / 4 East / Heme-Onc is a 32 bed unit that provides care for children and young adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. Scopes of practice include chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, symptom management of treatment toxicity, blood product administration, new diagnosis and end of life care. The unit is dynamic, fast paced and is focused on family-centered care. 4 East is the biggest of the three units that make up the in-patient Hem/Onc service line.

Requirements: Pediatric Heme-Onc experience 1 -2 years in an acute care experience, CA RN License; BSN or ADN with a Bachelors degree in another area is required.
Certifications: American Heart Association CPR required, Chemo Certification preferred.
