In addition, we provide critical community services through a variety of programs, and at our four State Veterans Homes located in Orting, Port Orchard, Spokane, and Walla Walla. These locations provide Medicare and Medicaid nursing home care to honorably discharged veterans, including, in some instances, their spouses, widows, or Gold Star families.

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work in our Restorative department of our Washington Veterans Home to provide person-centered care to our veteran patients as well as a compassionate attitude.   • Assist residents in completion of programs written by the Restorative RN Coordinator and Therapy staff.
  • Assist in meeting the R restorative nursing care needs of physically and cognitively impaired residents.
  • Equipment maintenance, repair and documentation.
  • Document resident participation and response to program using our EHR program.
  • Participates in the Staff Development/Training Program.


Required Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Current active status on OBRA. (Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act)


  • Long Term Nursing Care experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Six months experience providing direct restorative exercise programs.
