Position Summary: The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) will be responsible for the Heart Institute’s critical care registry. They will be responsible for data abstraction, data entry, clinical and quality data validation, and participation in registry committees. They will be responsible for tracking CTICU admissions, ICU length of stay, discharges, as well as other identified data indicators and fields. They will partner with our research and registry team as well as their physician partners.
Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year of RN Clinical Research experience. Adult or Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric cardiac experience preferred. Experience with EMR systems and data abstraction, experience working with clinical outcomes registries, proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) highly desirable.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: BSN required, Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Certified by SOCRA or ACRP. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), specifically Health Care Provider, certification. Additional competencies may be required by the work location.
