This posting is for multiple openings of Acute Care Resident RN at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
We offer full time 12-hour day and night shifts opportunities. Up to $10,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance will be provided for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
We are hiring for the following units:
Our Residency program transitions new graduate nurses into practice emphasizing inter-professional, collaborative, and patient-centered care. Our comprehensive specialty curriculum includes online and classroom-based learning, clinical simulation, skills development, and unit orientation with specialty trained preceptors. Our Core Fundamentals program is designed to support new graduate professional development through their first year of practice.

Made up of specialty-specific residency programs, the PAMC Clinical Academy will create an integrated, consistent structure for nurse onboarding and development that combines specialty training, dedicated preceptorships, and core fundamentals curriculum which will all focus on nurse professional development.

The start date is February 26, 2024.
*The RN Resident program is up to 16 weeks of training. Candidates hired will have a 2-year commitment to the unit after completion of the Residency. Candidate must have a RN license or temporary RN license with the State of AK prior to the start date. Current BLS from the American Heart Association required prior to starting.
Please also keep our critical access hospitals in mind located in Valdez, Seward and Kodiak. Our Extended Care and Transitional Care facilities also take new graduates, so those are great places to work as well!
