Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Position Summary:
      • Provides support to the nursing staff and physician by performing medical duties ranging from taking vital signs to assisting physicians with procedures. Escorts patients, and retrieves lab results. Cleans, stocks, and preps patient and procedure rooms. Assists the Unit Secretary as appropriate.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High school or equivalent
    • Minimum Experience
      • Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course; satisfactory completion of foundations course in nursing school; or 3 years nurse assistant experience.
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
    • Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
