The purpose of this role is to provide a mutually beneficial position where the student receives on the job experience and training. Nursing students to augment and support nursing services while continuing nursing education for students. Under the direction and supervision of an experienced RN, nursing students will deliver basic nursing care and monitoring in accordance with completed competencies and unit needs.
This program begins in late May/Early June for eight weeks
Opportunities Include: Medical, Surgical, Rehab/Skilled, Post Acute Care, ICU, ER, Operating Room, and OB
Interviews will begin in April 2023. Offers will follow completion of interviews.
Eligibility Requirements
Currently enrolled in a BSN/ADN Program
Within 12 months of program completion
Good academic standing
Skill Requirements
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
