Job Description

- Work within the Center for Rheumatic Disease & Infusion
- Receive trainning in all aspects of office procedures and protocols
- Develop strong triage abilites
- Work alongside nurses and physicians
- Interact with patients, staff and team members
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Be in good academic standing
- Interested in Registered Nurse as a future role
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer Service Oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team-oriented
- US Citizen or permanent resident

Nursing Externship Program
Atlantic Health System offers exciting opportunities to prepare the nurses of tomorrow. Our Summer Nursing Externship Program at Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center allows nursing students to gain hands-on patient care experience under the guidance of a certified preceptor. Those who graduate may be eligible for continued employment as a patient care technician or nursing assistant.
