Children's National Hospital and the HSC Healthcare System are seeking experienced Pediatric LPN staff for on call/PRN pediatric home care in Maryland and DC.


Our nurses provide 41,000+ visits to pediatric clients in their homes each year. HSC Home Care provides care for infants, children, teens, and young adults up to age 21 who have chronic health conditions or complex medical needs.


The PRN (on-call) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform nursing care activities for clients/patients as assigned. The LPN will contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of clients/patient care and must have at least two (2) years of experience working with pediatric patients with special needs.


We will consider 1 year of LPN experience if you have previous experience in pediatrics as a Nursing Assistant, Aide or Patient Care Tech.

Minimum Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing


Minimum Experience Requirement:

2 years in direct pediatric patient care, including vent care


Minimum Licensure Requirement:

Current LPN licensure in DC/Maryland/VA (or eligible), Current BLS Certification

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
