New Grad RNs are automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program upon hire. This year-long program will help establish the foundation of clinical skills you will need throughout your career. Monthly classes supplement your clinical unit-based orientation, providing didactic, evidence-based content essential to developing clinicians, as well as peer discussion about transition-to-practice issues. Entry-level professional nurse, focused primarily on developing knowledge and skills. Provides safe patient care at a basic level and shows growth in ability to care for increasingly complex patients. Manages care and implements treatment plans at a basic skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Requires consultation with more experienced clinicians and benefits from feedback.
