The medical assistant is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting.
High school or equivalent
Completion of a medical assisting training course
Medical assisting experience preferred
Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA)
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
