Job Description

The Telehealth Program Manager serves as the Telehealth Program Manager for the Office of Telemedicine. This job supports all the functions for project management and development of assigned projects for Telehealth. This job partners with business stakeholders to develop clear project plans, identifies and execute project portfolio within program, defines program metrics and reports on program status and results.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Mininum of five (5) year’s experience working in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated analytic ability to identify process or performance issues and develop recommendations using multiple information resources. Understanding of legal and regulatory health care environment and analytic skills to implement policies in the unique telemedicine setting. Information system competency related to telehealth and clinical systems. Experience PREFERRED: Minimum of 2 years working in a hospital and/or Ambulatory Care Services setting. Education/training REQUIRED: Master’s degree in business, information systems, statistics, healthcare management or related degree. Education/training PREFERRED: PMP Certification; CPHIMS Certification. Independent action(s) required: Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired results. Work is assessed through consultation and agreement with others to ensure long range targets and business objectives are met.
