Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Nursing Recruitment assumes overall responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, plans and standards of the organization and nursing recruitment within the department of nursing. Specific duties include; management and evaluation of division operations, customer and staff satisfaction, management of metrics measuring division performance, certification and accreditation standards/activities, professional development opportunities, and developing community relationships with colleges of nursing, professional associations and regional/national health systems. Ensure consistent recruitment of elite nursing staff and professional development throughout staff career paths in nursing.
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered (or eligible) Registered Nurse required. Bachelors degree in Nursing required. Masters degree in Nursing or related field required. Minimum of five years post licensure RN experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment, to include two years of progressively responsible nursing management/supervisory experience. Effective leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills required. CPR-BLS required by time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in a nursing leadership or role associated specialty preferred.
