Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Candidates with less than one year of post licensure acute care nursing experience who possess a license or eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS will be considered for appointment to a Nurse 1 position
Offering an exciting opportunity to join our Interventional Radiology team. We are looking for a responsible RN with recent experience in critical care as well as providing sedation, and who can work in a multiple modality department. The modalities include U/S, MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine. Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques and isolation techniques is a plus. Ability to work in CT and 3T MR scanner rooms. Duties include, but are not limited to working up patients prior to appointment, accessing central lines, IV skills, monitoring contrast injections as well as assessing for contrast reactions. Must follow nursing and office policies and NYS DOH regulations and requirements
Full-time (40 hours a week), M-F days with on call and some weekend and holiday responsibilities. Weekend and holiday rotation as required by bargaining agreements

Commensurate with Qualifications, based on acute care experience.
