Develops and maintains basic competencies required to conduct clinical research
Initiates studies as primary role for assigned clinical research studies, supervises/collaborates/supports other pediatric CRCs as requested and/or coverage is needed and verifies timelines & accuracy as requested by PI & Peds administrative team. Coordinates and facilitates site qualification visits
Enrolls patients as primary role for assigned clinical research studies, supervises/collaborates/supports other pediatric CRCs as requested and/or coverage is needed and verifies timelines & accuracy as requested by PI & Peds administrative team.
Collects data as primary role for assigned clinical research studies, supervises/collaborates/supports other pediatric CRCs as requested and/or coverage is needed and verifies timelines & accuracy as requested by PI & Peds administrative team.
Manages study patient follow-up as primary role for assigned clinical research studies, supervises/collaborates/supports other pediatric CRCs as requested and/or coverage is needed and verifies timelines & accuracy as requested by PI & Peds administrative team.
Manages monitoring visits as primary role for assigned clinical research studies, supervises/collaborates/supports other pediatric CRCs as requested and/or coverage is needed and verifies timelines & accuracy as requested by PI & Peds administrative team.
Patient Population:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide equitable care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

Employment Qualifications
Required Education: BSN
Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Licensure/Certification Required: Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
Licensure/Certification Preferred: Clinical Research certificate, PALS
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 4-5 years of pediatric clinical experience
